Healing can feel like a daunting journey.
Let’s take your first steps together.
The first step: Why therapy now?
A supportive therapist can allow us to feel seen, validated, and offer a new perspective that may be difficult to provide for ourselves during times of turmoil.
Transitions can be planned or unplanned. They can be joyful and exciting, or disappointing and painful. Most of the time, transitions can feel like many confusing feelings all at once. We may be capable of navigating these feelings alone, but healing and growth does not need to happen in isolation.
Step Two: Decide on a therapist that resonates with your values and vibe.
You have the agency and ability to decide to work with a therapist who will provide you with a sense of comfort, safety and trust.
I view my role in the therapeutic process as a collaborative guide and resource on the map of your growth. I am aware that there are many ways to get to the same destination, and I believe each person has their own agency to decide the direction. You set the direction, pace, and focus of your treatment. I will hold the map to guide you along the way.
Step Three: What will allow you to receive the most consistent support?
The most consistent mental health support is the kind that we can easily attend and consistently afford.
I offer virtual, HIPPA compliant mental health services that can be provided at the private location of your choosing. I hold therapy sessions on at a variety of days and times on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. My rate is stationary, but I do have a limited number of sliding scale options to increase access to mental health services, as well as short-term crisis therapy options.
